Born again

Tonight i got Baptised and despite being really nervous about testifying in front of everyone i didn't mess it up :")

Then after reading my testimony to everyone i then went down into a pool of water where i agreed to serve the lord then got placed backwards into the water where i was fully submerged then brought back up again.

It was a great experience and people i never even knew came to say how proud they where of me and how my testimony was good, its so nice to have a family outside of my real one aswell.

I am truly blessed!

but

GOD HASN'T FINISHED WITH ME YET!

Baptism

On the 30th September 2012 i will be baptised at Elim Church, this will be the start of a new and improved me, working for God and growing further in my faith, i can not wait to become born again :D

My Story

Since i can remember i always use to watch C.S.I with my Grandma, i decided from a young age i'd become a crime scene investigator, everything that came with figuring out how someone had passed away interested me more than it should of at a young age.

Soon to discover i am terrible at Chemistry and Physics my dream looked as though it would not come true, Never the less I had photography my hobby to fall back on.

I Never knew what i wanted take as a subject at college, being rubbish at exams i knew A-levels where out of the question and i never really knew what i was good at.. So i took a Photography Btec knowing that photographing things was a hobby i had.

I did a two year Diploma in Photography but after a year i found a passion for Embalming after watching a programme on tv, There and then i set out to become a Funeral Director, I researched the industry as much as i could, I wrote letters,  and visited funeral homes to be turned away every time and not taken seriously because of how young i was.

As i finally gave up hope my mother came across an advertisement in the news paper about a pub being transformed into a funeral home, and she dropped my cv off on the way to work. I had a phone call later that day asking me to go down and meet the guy, i then ended up with a job and helped to build and decorate the funeral home.

I was told i'd have a full time job after working there for a few months but i never got paid and in the end i never got the opportunity to work full time either because they can't afford to pay me as it is a new business so my dreams where crushed, later in the year after working voluntary for the company i stopped going for a while as i had finished college and couldn't decide if  i wanted to go to university or carry on with another extra year at college which had only just been introduced.

I decided to try out to do Health Sciences at college..a completely different subject from what i had studied before, in the end i had an interview and it wasn't the course for me, so i went to see my tutor to see if he had my results from my photography diploma and he ended up talking to me about what i was going to do now since i had changed my mind, I then ended up ringing Chester University on the phone asking them about their Mortuary Science Course, which i later got a place on and now i'm studying the subject and work part time at the funeral home.

It just goes to show that you should never give up on your dreams because one day and some how you'll achieve them no matter how long it takes.
